new version even not starting
Thanks for the continuing work!
What are these “collapsible headers”? (from above:- change cursor when hovering collapsible headers to indicate that it is clickable)
Thanks for making Cherry Tree better and better!
I had been using Treepad as my main notekeeper since around 2002 and was dismayed to hear about the developer’s passing. I looked for substitutes for my beloved Treepad, but none felt ‘right’.
When I found Cherry Tree and discovered that I could import my Treepad Databases (I have a LOT over those 20 some years!) I was elated.
Now I have a great Info Storage program that is still being actively developed!
Thank you!
Just tried to install 1.3.0 (on Windows 7) and it wouldn’t fire up.
Had to reinstall 1.2.0 which worked fine.
The program does not start when the Russian keyboard layout is enabled and crashes when you switch from English to Russian layout
Thank you for the update as always, your product is central to my daily work.
However I’m having trouble on windows with this new version and I’m going to revert to 1.2.0 for now until I can give you more information on what the problem is. I’ve been using 1.3.0 on Windows 10 for two weeks now and it has unexpectedly crashed twice during simple edits to pages, with nothing unusual like large pastes or such I can point to. My CTB is 520MB and backup interval is set to 2 hours and I need to have it stable during work hours. This is new behaviour and I don’t recall 1.2.0 crashing, releases have all been very stable since 1.02 or before. I’ll try an install 1.3.0 separately and monitor mem usage and things while doing unimportant updates, I’ll raise an issue if I find why. Thank you as always.
The link to a forum on the page http://www.giuspen.com/cherrytreemanual/index.html doesn’t work.
How can I set the directory where I want all cherrytree data to be kept? I don’t see such a setting in Edit->Preferences.
you choose that when you File–Save As
that was fixed changing from windows 1.3.0.0 to 1.3.0.1
